We are a professional organization of ~4000 academic, industrial, nonprofit, and government chemists in the greater Chicagoland area. We engage in outreach, government affairs, career development, education, awards and scholarships, and professional networking at our ten annual public meetings.

Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists
The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists engages science leaders, policy makers, and the interested public on topics of nuclear weapons and disarmament, the changing energy landscape, climate change, and emerging technologies through our journal, iconic Doomsday Clock, and public access website.

Expanding Your Horizons Chicago (sponsored by UIC and University of Chicago)
EYH Chicago hosts an annual one-day symposium for middle school girls to engage in hands-on workshops in STEM led by women in the Chicago STEM community. We also host a parent program featuring information about community resources to help support their child’s education and career development.

North Park University
We are a University within Chicago priding ourselves on diversity and liberal education. We help the community and students with giving them a real taste of what science is like in both academia job fields and industry. We perform undergraduate research and engage Chicago youth in science.
Northwestern University - Argonne-Northwestern Solar Energy Research (ANSER) Center
The ANSER Center is a joint research effort between Northwestern University and Argonne National Laboratory that works to develop the fundamental understanding of molecules, materials and method necessary to create dramatically more efficient technologies for solar fuels and energy production.
